CAREERS AT BOF: Administrative & Marketing Coordinator

Black Opportunity Fund (BOF) is seeking a motivated and result focused Administrative & Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team for a 3-year Contract position. 

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

This role will report to the Project Manager and focus on supporting our marketing efforts and project-focused administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent project administrative, marketing, and organizational skills and be enthusiastic about working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. 

 

KEY DUTIES: 

  • Collect, organize, and coordinate project data, documents, donor lists and all other information to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion 
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and the team, ensuring efficient tracking of project deadlines 
  • Support marketing strategy development and execute marketing initiatives in collaboration with the project manager and team members 
  • Liaise with outsourced PR, and Social Media partners to create awareness for programs, and ensure all branding and communication is aligned with BOF values 
  • Support in creating communications materials, including presentations and marketing collateral 
  • Coordinate social media presence and correspondence across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram 
  • Coordinate online and in-person meetings with sponsors and donors, and communication campaigns, including mass mailings for the project. 
  • Handle administrative functions and ad hoc requests as needed. 

 

Requirements 

  • 3+ years of project coordinator or marketing administration experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment 
  • Demonstrated creativity and meticulous attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong writing and editing abilities 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different organizational levels 
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines independently 
  • Outstanding organizational skills with expertise in project administration and prioritization 
  • Proactive problem-solver who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite 

 

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 per annum / commensurate to experience along with great employer benefits such as extended health benefits, non-traditional time off benefits and opportunity to work for an organization whose mandate involved significant social impact.
