Chima Nkemdirim

Chima Nkemdirim is Principal with Rishi Nolan Strategies, a boutique consultancy specializing in providing strategic advice to C-Suite executives, boards, and government. Chima’s previous roles include Vice President, Government Relations for Shaw Communications, former Chief of Staff to Calgary Mayor Nenshi, and prior to that he practiced law with Dentons LLP. Chima is passionate about the arts and about building strong communities. He has volunteered on a number of arts boards including Alberta Theatre Projects, Arts Commons and Calgary Arts Development, where he serves as Board Chair. In 2011, Chima was appointed as Queen’s Council by the Government of Alberta, and in 2012 he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to Canada.
