Oakland Chief of Violence Prevention Guillermo Cespedes who is a globally recognized leader in this area, has been confirmed to participate as the keynote speaker to frame the event.
It will be followed by a virtual Canada wide roundtable on a Public Health Approach to Violence Prevention, with expert presenters from across various regions of Canada bringing their own distinct perspectives.
