(BOF) Programs

Black Opportunity Fund (BOF) is dedicated to dismantling systemic racism by providing funding and capacity-building support for Black-led businesses, charities, and non-profits in Canada. BOF prioritizes initiatives in entrepreneurship, education, health, women’s empowerment, criminal justice, arts & culture, and youth development.

BOF fosters economic empowerment by facilitating access to capital through loans, equity investments, and grants. Committed to equity, BOF applies an anti-oppression, intersectional approach, using trust-based, participatory decision-making to ensure impacted communities shape its work, fostering sustainable change and improving the quality of life for Black Canadians.
