Dr. Myrna Lashley, CM, is a psychologist and Associate professor Department of Psychiatry McGill University and researcher Lady Davis Institute, Jewish General Hospital. First Black Associate dean John Abbott College, internationally recognized clinical, teaching, authority in cultural psychology, and. Past Scientific Chair of the First-Line Psychosocial Science Committee of the Clinical Ethics Committee of CIUSS de centre-ouest-de-l’ile-de-Montréal and the recipient of many awards and accolades. She is part of the newly-founded geopsychiatry consortium; one of Concordia university’s 50 most distinguished scholars; and a 2024 member of the Order of Canada.
She is also Barbados’ Honorary Consul at Montreal.
